I’m Linkedin with iJustine

Justine has been on a mission today. Setting up a ning community, uploading pictures to Facebook and then adding her friends to her LinkedIn account.

Justine has had this LinkedIn account for a while but she didn’t really draw any attention to it or update it over the past year. After her Twitter update, I checked it out and saw that she had made some drastic improvements to the profile citing the numerous work she has done in the past year traveling around for companies like American Eagle.

I was excited to see a message in my inbox saying that iJustine had added me to her network. Woohoo. As DJ Steen would say, this is a GIDDY day. :)

iJustine Ning and a mass of followers

iJustine announced on Twitter at 7PM PST that she had set up an account on Ning a community based website. Within that hour she already has amassed over 75 connections. Ning offers the latest social networking features, all infinitely customizable to meet your unique needs. The Ning Platform makes this possible. As a platform, you don’t have to appeal to Ning for the features you want. If you have the time and the inclination, you can build them yourself. It’s the software equivalent of Home Depot. Unlike other services that offer a “one-size-fits-all” offering, your social network on Ning runs on a programmable platform.

So what are you waiting for? Get over to ning and set up your account for all the ning-alicious treats.

Super Geek Love for iJustine

You can’t get ANY geekier than MIT. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology attracts geeks from all around the world and seems to breed them from beakers. No surprise then that the Technology Review published by MIT wrote a nice long piece on iJustine.

By now, Justine has reduced her lifecasting to a few hours per week. (Justin.tv is now leaning away from it, too: “In our experience, there are less broadcaster-intensive uses–cases that produce more interesting content for the end user,” Justin.tv CEO Michael Seibel obscurely explained in an e-mail.) In part, this is simply because Ezarik needs Justin.tv less than she once did: she has 50,000 MySpace friends, she long ago reached her limit of 5,000 Facebook friends, and she has about 23,000 Twitter followers. Two hours ago she informed them that she was “LOL”ing. Twenty hours earlier, she was eating a “really good cookie.”

The entire article is about 4 pages long and goes into a lot of detail about our favorite internet celebrity from her start to the present day.

Gawker Media Loves iJustine

Gawker Media the same group that produces great hits like Gizmodo, Defamer, Lifehacker and the very entertaining Valleywag also loves iJustine. They posted something on their site today in the normal sarcastic tone all about iJustine and the level of popularity she has gained. They may seem to dislike Justine but the fact is they love her.

iJustine is an internet superstar

Great day for treats. A couple weeks back I wrote about iJustine being a thief over at Revision3. Today I found the interview that she was doing while she was there. The interview is long and iJustine does a great job and talks more about her time as a lifecaster, the iPhone bill, and her upcoming work with Carson Daly.
