Ultimate iJustine fan

I found this iJustine treat online this morning. It’s a featured article on Adrants, a great website that talks about all types of marketing and advertising.

Surprisingly, there hasn’t been much press on AT&T’s Lost in America, a Wal-Marting Across America-style (sorry, Justine) travel blog program fronted by Justine Ezarik, a.k.a iJustine and Karen Nguyen. For a few months now, the pair have been “lost” in America and exploring Alaska, Austin and Chicago.

Adrants, published by Adrants Publishing LLC, provides marketing and advertising news with attitude in the form of a website and daily email newsletter. Written by current and former industry practitioners, it provides insightful, informed, experiential, no holds barred commentary on the state of the advertising and media industries. Editorial covers emerging marketing and advertising trends, cultural and demographic shifts affecting advertising strategies, new campaign launches, viral and buzz marketing, useful industry research and the examination of the industry’s shift from old paradigms to new.

I had watched the original episode and then got caught up in the other videos Justine was releasing. I just checked back into the Studio8 guys and see that they have 6 full episodes online now that feature iJustine and Karen.

Studio 8 produced this reality web series for AT&T. It stars Justine Ezarik from iJustine.com and Karen Nguyen from Karenism.com. Basically, we plopped the girls down in different cities around America and made them complete a bunch of challenges using only their wits and various AT&T devices to do so. The first 5 episodes take place in Anchorage, Alaska. Will the girls make it or will they fail miserably? JibJab is awesome. I like that I can bring iJustine into so many interesting videos that she would never actually do, like dressing like an elf and dancing the disco.

It’s a sad day in iJustine town. The tweet said “Well, my iPhone is shattered” and that’s all that had to be said. Any of us with iPhones know that scratches and dents are something we may have to deal with but if the glass shatters, you are done.

My iPhone is crying for you iJustine. Maybe we can give it a proper burial in the Apple orchard. It’s a sad day when all the kings horses and all the kings men can not put iJustine’s iPhone back together again.

MrBig is right. losing your iPhone must be like losing an arm. 26,000 people may not care so much about iJustine eating a cookie but Twitter was flooded with people offering condolences to iJustine and her poor broken iPhone.

What one event brings some of the largest names in the internet and WEB2.0 together along with superstars like Lionel Richie and MC Hammer? The annual Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco. One of these days I might find myself lucky enough to attend one of these and rub elbows with the social elite but until then I live vicariously through iJustine.

iJustine has one of the most recognized e-lebrity brands around. Of course that’s why she is invited to great parties. One of the after parties iJustine attended was the MySpace Music Party.
