Wired’s Sexiest Geek - Update

I really want to thank Sarah Meyers for letting me know about this. I am really excited that most of you have gone and voted for iJustine as well. She now has 3165 votes at the time of this post. When I was told about Wired’s Sexiest Geek iJustine only had about 1700 votes and that number has gone up by another 1431.

iJustine is in the top 3

Thanks to all the votes from the fans and with some help from the Fake Steve Jobs iJustine has made it to the top 3. With a few hundred more votes she can make it to the top 2. Honestly iJustine is #1 all the time and I don’t need a poll to tell me that.

It’s amazing that the fans have banded together to get the votes up as high as they have. Great work! If you have not had a chance tovote, GO HERE and get your vote counted.

    She’s just an attention seeking tool with a laptop. Which is much less sexy than somebody who knows what they are talking about.

    Also, what’s this shit about face-lifts? The whole point about nerds is that they are well informed. Well informed women don’t get face-lifts unless they have some serious issues.

You can tell she doesn’t know anything based on…. what? Myspace? She didn’t even say anything. Based on the pronouns, the article wasn’t even written by her. YOU, however, did write that paragraph, and everyone here can clearly tell you’re a judgmental prick. @t5, and everyone who agrees with him: Wouldn’t it double her geekiness if she has a mac and a pc? I hate macs as much as the rest, but they do have their uses for video editing, which it clearly says she does.

    She’s a graphic/web designer (YES!) and a video editor, hence the Mac. If she were a C programmer or a network analyst, sure, I’d expect something else, but that’s not the case. READ.

    Besides, who’s to say she didn’t replace everything on that system with *nix-based goodies?

How else you see many PC on the stores shelves and many Big Fortune 500 Companies using PC instead of MACS? Also she not a Geek. She things she is.     “The social networking sites she typically resides on…” No real geek would spend that amount of energy interacting with all the other tools who spend all day blogging their vapid lives back and forth to each other.
    Since when did owning a computer instantly turn someone into a geek? That word has stereotypical associations that come with it, and guess what? Being a trendy, blond, graphic designer does not fit the bill.
    I think she watched Napoleon Dynamite, decided that geeks were now cool enough to fit into her mainstream lifestyle and proceeded to try to incorporate the notion into her web-personality or whatever.

    What a load of crap!
