Justine has a mystery trip to the NYC area and I say mystery because she has not said where or why she is going. It could be as harmless as meeting up with some friends, but if that were the case should wouldn’t have said this in her blog “I’ll tell you what I’m doing there in the next post”.

In fact, major movie and TV studios are increasingly looking to the Web for new talent for both on- and offline projects.

With the recent announcement from ABC that Amanda Congdon will not be renewing her contract so she can focus her energy on some new opportunities, this must have ABC looking for someone to fill the iVacuum. What a great opportunity for Justine Ezarik to move into mainstream media. News agencies have been doing a lot of work to beef up their online presence over the years and having people that understand the internet and have a built in following online are prime candidates for these positions.

After the viral hit of the iPhone bill that landed Justine on major news sites like CNN, FOX and yes ABC, it wouldn’t be difficult to imagine that some executive at a network would do a bit of research to see if Justine could bring her talent to the station and hit the ground running.

As I mentioned in the last post that has also gotten some great comments [Thanks peeps], Justine has a bright future ahead of her and she is destined for bigger and better things than lifecasting for JTV. I was surfing the web and came across this from Andrew Quayle who surprisingly made this connection a couple days before me. Geeze Andy, stop drinking my kool aid!
