iJustine fan site notes
Fake Steve Jobs, Friends of Justine, Justine Ezarik, Revver, ijustine September 24th, 2007I don’t know where to start. The site has a very regular visit rate that has grown a lot since it was launched in July with this first post. Starting off with 10 initial visitors, the site has had a regular stream of about 200-300 a day for the past couple months. I have Google analytics on the site to track these things as well as show me where the visits are coming from around the world. All over North America the site seems to be a hit and we have people from as far away as Russia and Australia [Dj Steen] as well.
Something happened though when The Fake Steve Jobs posted a link to the hysterical Justine video from Revver though. A simple link to the iJustine fan site increased viewership to over 4,500 in a day and it made my chart look scary. The visits definatley peaked and dropped off, but that shows the power of the internet and the site has averaged a higher viewership since.
So I want to thank the new visitors and all of the loyal ones for making this site as popular as it has become. I would like to find a way to show my appreciation and I’m actively thinking of a way to make that happen. Until then, I would like to extend an open invitation to any of the fans a link on the blog roll to help drive some traffic to your sites and I will be adding some new features to the site that will make this more interactive for you soon.
I did not know what would become of this site. Initially I was thinking this would be a fad that would run out after a few weeks and I’d only be out the cost of a domain from GoDaddy and some time, but I have made the decision to continue this blog as long as I possibly can and since I don’t plan on on going anywhere without the internet anytime soon, I will keep the updates on Justine for a long time. If you haven’t already done so and you like the site, add this to your RSS reader by clicking the RSS logo in the upper right corner of the page.

Hi iGuy, I am a new frequent visitor of this fan site, but the more links you get the more people will become aware. I had one link from Gizmodo.com take my blog to 13,000 in one day. That was awesome!

Thanks for the great comments. With Justine slowly moving away from lifecasting 24/7, I expect traffic to slow down a bit. I will continue to write posts on her adventures and I expect that her fans with their own websites will be able to link to some of the content I develop.
Sarah, thanks for visiting. Your site looks better and better every time I stop by. You’re doing a great job on it!
